The Empire Belfast

The Empire Belfast illustration
The Empire Music Hall is a great venue located in Botanic avenue, Belfast, just right behind Queens University. The Empire was originally built as a music hall in the late 19th century and the front of the building with its red brick and super details around the widows and doors I had to do the illustration of it.

Apart from the Empire has a rich history and cultural significance for Belfast it brings back memories of when I attended Queens. I would go to the comedy nights, watch bands or just simply hang out with friends over a few drinks and their famous pizza.

Living in Galway I don’t get to the Empire all that often, but when we are in Belfast and have just taken the dogs for a walk around the Botanic gardens, we pop in.

If we are staying in Belfast for the night, we might see one of the cover-bands playing upstairs after a wee drink or two. If you visit enjoy yourselves!
