Practicing mindfulness helps us reduce the stress and anxiety in our lives. We begin to improve our lives as mindfulness can help balance our everyday emotions and gives us a better flexibility in our thoughts and actions. Beginning mindfulness can be a difficult task and with a little  help from me you begin your mindfulness practice by guided practices.

What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a form of meditation in which you focus on the now.

Practicing mindfulness involves focusing on your breathing, using guided mindfulness practice and being aware of what you are feeling in the moment without judgement.

Studies have shown the effectiveness of mindfulness on a range of various conditions, ranging from, stress, anxiety, pain management, insomnia to depression.

The best thing about doing a mindfulness practice is that you can practice it everyday. Fitting a sitting mindfulness 5 minute practice into your daily routine is achievable.

We all at times hear our internal voice be negative. A simple practice is to stop, take a deep breath and bring your awareness to your breath.

Once you accept your feelings without thinking of them as “right” or “wrong,” you can change any unhealthy thought patterns.

Mindfulness teaches you to be aware of your feelings.
